We are looking for a full-time, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The right candidate will be proficient in assisting in providing direct patient care, such as administering rehabilitation treatments, performing basic assessments and therapies, and keeping accurate records. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will also be responsible for working with other medical staff and departments to ensure that patients receive proper care and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the functional abilities of patients in order to design therapeutic programs and develop treatment plans.
- Prepare patients for Occupational Therapy and assist when needed.
- Administer Occupational Therapy treatments using traditional and/or innovative treatment approaches.
- Treat conditions to help improve a patient's ability to perform daily living skills.
- Implement and evaluate programs with Occupational Therapist to promote strength, coordination, sensory integration, and/or use of cognitive processes.
- Perform clerical duties such as progress notes, updating assessments and maintain patient records.

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
