C.N.A is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. The Care Manager role includes providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

· High school diploma or GED accepted and maybe required per state regulations
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have CNA certification
· Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors
· Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
· Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
· Ability to handle multiple priorities
· Must possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding
· Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
· Ability to stand/walk 4-7 hours per during an 8 hour shift and Lift up to 51 lbs.
· Maintains proper certifications as required by the state and participates in all required training
Essential Duties:
· Observes, reports, and documents symptoms and conditions of residents
· Reviews, reads, notates, and initializes daily logs to document and learn about pertinent information and any resident’s physical and/or behavioral changes
· Helps maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident adhering to the standards of Resident Rights
· Strives to understand and respond to each resident with empathy; always mindful of the resident’s unique communication patterns and history
· Checks residents for changes in skin condition, side effects of medication, and overall health conditions
· Notifies supervisor is resident has increased care needs
· Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to residents in the dining rooms during set meal times
· Ensures established safety procedures are being followed at all times
· Maintains universal care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
