We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting healthcare professionals with examinations and procedures, administering medications, assisting providers with administrative duties, performing prior authorizations for medications and providing exceptional patient service.

```Responsibilities```
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coding

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in medication administration
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and sending prescription medications
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus
