SalaryStart Immediately! Our practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our exceptional team. The ideal candidate has a background in the medical field, specifically in women's health, can easily relate to patients and their families, and is comfortable with routine procedures including patient check-ins, documentation/charting and medical screenings. The CMA will provide back-up support to all our front desk staff and must be able to communicate effectively with patients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient medical histories.
- Take patient vitals
- Prepare patients for physician examination.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Observe changes in patient's condition and report them to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Prepare instruments and equipment.
- Prepare medications, solutions, and other solutions for administration to patients.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Prepare sterile solutions and other special solutions according to physician's order.
- Assist Providers during exams and procedures
- Communicate information to office staff, patients, or others as needed.
- Any and all other tasks directed by the Clinical leader and/or providers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
