Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you will operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal anatomy for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will be integral in providing accurate diagnoses and contributing to the overall patient care experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
- Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Monitor and assess patients for any adverse reactions during the procedure.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review and analyze images for diagnostic quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members or students as needed.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in CT imaging.
- State licensure or certification to practice as a CT Technologist in Florida.
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related computer systems.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in CT imaging.
