We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist (GE Profile) to join our medical imaging team one day per week. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients. Your expertise in medical imaging and knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be crucial in providing accurate and high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.

```Responsibilities```

- Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions

- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images

- Operate MRI scanners and adjust parameters to capture clear and accurate images

- Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort

- Evaluate images for quality and make adjustments as needed

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures

```Requirements```

- Valid certification as an MRI Technologist

- Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and related equipment

- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as X-Ray, PET scan, Sonography, or Mammography is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures

- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency situations in the ER

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $46.99 - $49.44 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
