The Corporate Development team supporting our Cox Automotive Division is focused on identifying and analyzing target companies for current and future acquisitions. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join the Corporate Development team as an intern.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify data set for Corporate Development lead generation to support the team's business development activities
- Conduct online research on companies to determine if they meet our target company parameters
- Lead ad hoc Corporate Development work, including the development of presentations, tracking spreadsheets, and key takeaways from internal meetings
- Contribute to team and leadership presentations
Qualifications:
- Passion for data analysis and research
- Interest in strategy, finance, consulting, or investments
- Ability to learn new facts and concepts quickly and comprehensively, and to synthesize and communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
- Ability to work independently and navigate tight deadlines, and to work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
