Catering Sales Director

Our client is a fast-growing catering company that has been operating in the Bay Area for over 25 years. Their recipe for success includes elevated seasonal food, outstanding intimate service, and custom-tailored experiences.

As the Catering Sales Director, you will lead a team and oversee flawless execution of high-end events. This role will manage, develop, train, and lead a team of approximately four Sales and Warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service. A person with high-end and large event catering management experience from intake to event execution is a must. You will have the confidence to lead high-end events in a hands-on, professional, and hospitable manner. This role will work independently to fully manage the sales process and work closely with the Event Management teams in the sales, administration, execution, and production process of events.

Responsibilities:

• Create quality proposals composed of 4 major areas: menu, beverage, staff, and equipment rental.
• Design, detail, and work with clients for themed or other high-end events.
• Attend, lead, and execute high-end or large events as a hands-on leader.
• Meet or exceed individual sales revenue target of $1.5M per year.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Catering experience with 2+ years Managing teams.
• Extensive knowledge in high-end food catering, design, sales, planning, and execution.
• Extensive track record of providing memorable experiences to high-end clientele.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Hardworking nature, hands-on approach, and a passion for the hospitality business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
