Job Description
- Oversee Catering Operations: Coordinate and supervise catering activities, varying in size, under the direction of the Food Service Director.
- Collaborate for Event Success: Work with production, conference services, and sales teams to plan and execute catered events, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Manage Catering Staff: Participate in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance of catering staff, fostering a skilled and cohesive team.
- Enhance Service Standards: Maintain and enhance food presentation and service standards, staying current with catering industry trends.
- Build Client Relationships: Cultivate positive relationships with clients and the community, promote catering sales, and ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors in hospitality or related field, preferred
- 3+ years experience in catering, event planning, or food service management, required
- 3+ years in management experience, required
- ServSafe Certification, required
- Knowledge of proper table service techniques and design, preferred
- MS Office product computer skills, ability to learn event management software, preferred
