Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Modeling and Transformation: Develop and maintain robust data models for marketing analysis, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Transform raw data into actionable insights to support marketing strategies.
- Dashboard and Report Development: Create visually compelling and intuitive dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and marketing initiatives.
- Data Visualization: Utilize advanced visualization techniques to present complex data in an easily understandable format for stakeholders.
- Market Share Analysis: Conduct thorough market share analysis to identify growth opportunities and assess market positioning.
- Consumer Behavior Insights: Analyze consumer behavior data to provide insights into customer preferences, buying patterns, and trends.
- Promotional Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing promotions and campaigns, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, category management, marketing, and IT teams to align data-driven insights with business objectives.
- Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Excel, and other relevant data analytics tools.
- Syndicated Data and Category Management: Leverage syndicated data sources and apply category management principles to enhance marketing strategies.
- Insight Identification: Proactively identify actionable insights from data analysis, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to be on-site as needed at the Serv-U-Success and Meijer Corporate Offices.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, IT, Database Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Analytics and Reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Excel.
- Experience with syndicated data, retail, and category management preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience using Customer Insight data (Dunnhumby, Nielsen, etc) preferred.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Results-oriented. Organized & methodical. Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task under pressure.
