  • Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas for low carbon footprint systems solutions.
  • Perform bench test equipment design, operation, maintenance, and capability/capacity upgrades.
  • Keep up to date on new clean emission technologies or develop modern technologies.
  • Communicate technical information to dealers, customers, team members, suppliers, and other units; support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, dealers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a keen understanding of internal and external customers’ needs and represent the company externally.
  • Provide support through all phases of development while ensuring the process can be run safely, identifying, and addressing scale-up issues, and developing the final process step.
  • Providing product development technical and project management interface to management and internal clients.
  • Performing data extraction/analysis, failure analysis and problem solving, application of simulation tools and methods, and practical application of theory and concepts.
  • Testing products, analyzing test data, and making modifications to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
  • Building, testing, and modifying product prototypes using working models or theoretical models.
  • The role may later lead to creating, planning, and executing R&D projects, observing safety rules, timelines, and budgeting while providing technical assistance as part of a cross-functional team.
