Transitions is looking for a full-time Cash Poster to join our rapidly growing team. This position is responsible for electronically and manually posting all cash received from all patient related payors including processing zero pays, posting insurance payments, performing monthly patient statement cash reconciliations, withholding review, cash offsets, remittance record keeping, EFT enrollments, ERA enrollments, and proper recording of cash receipts.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate data entry of payments received from third party payers.
- Timely storing of all remittance advices.
- Zero Pay Review
- Ability to work with EOB , EOP, ERA. Understanding of RARC and CARC Coding
- Ability to understand all proper RARC and CARC coding.
- Reconciles daily cash receipts from insurance carriers with database and submit to reports supervisor.
- Maintenance of Cash Sheet.
- Adheres to proper Billing Practices and Payor Regulations
- Uses problem solving skills to follow up on Commercial Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, Managed Care RAs.
- Processes EFT enrollments as needed.
- Processes ERA enrollments as needed.
- Recognizes proper Order of Payor Coordination.
- Answers phones when necessary.
- Reports to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared to engage in all job responsibilities; location of work sites and shifts will change at the discretion of the supervisor.

- Knowledge and Experience in Microsoft Excel
- HCHB Background Preferred
- Deadline Oriented
- LTC or NF Billing Experience Preferred
- Strong in Cash Reconciliations Eligibility and Authorization Background Preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent with two (2) years college
- Preferred two (3) years of experience in health care data entry, preferably in health care
- Preferred one (2) year of previous health care related billing or cash posting experience
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
