Cash Application Specialist

Robert Half is currently partnered with a long-standing client to fill a Cash Application Specialist opening on their team in Coppell on a contract to permanent basis! The Cash Application Specialist will work with the accounts receivable department to process high volume transactions. The ideal candidate will have previous 10-key experience with inputting checks received from lock boxes, in a high-volume environment. Major responsibilities

- Process and reconcile remittances and accounts receivables

- Address payment issues or other discrepancies

- Attend to customer database accounts

- Record payments including checks to customer accounts, wires and ACH credit transfers

- Handle weekly general ledger reports

- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
- 2+ years working in an accounts receivable department
- Must maintain a high level of accuracy and be detail oriented
- Experience with Cash Applications
