Cash Application Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for the timely and accurate application of customer payments to their respective accounts in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Payments are received by check, ACH and wire.

• Analyze and identify payment exceptions that could not be easily applied. This requires extensive research and working closely with the client, other Accounts Receivable team members and Operations.

• Assist in the management of a centralized Cash Applications email box for questions, corrections or other information being requested either from internal staff or clients.

• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma.
• Two years of Cash Applications or accounting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus but not required
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills.
