Core Responsibilities

• Airport pickups for new arrivals
• apartment setup for new arrivals.
• Transportation to service providers.
• Assists clients to apply public benefits, social security card, immunizations, and school enrollments as necessary.
• Assist client with completing relevant forms.

What will you be doing in your role?

• Support Case Managers to provide reception and placement core services.
• Serve as a link between Catholic Charities FW and refugee communities to increase awareness of program services.
• Assist clients with language and culture interpretation with service providers.
• Advocate for clients at service providers or agencies and in the community.
• Cultivate positive relationships with relevant faith-based organizations, social service providers, and other community partners.

Base Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year experience in similar position.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid Texas driver's license, and liability insurance.
• Must be willing to drive a company or personal vehicle to transport clients
• Bilingual skills in a common refugee language are preferred.
• Ability to push/pull/carry heavy items when setting up client's apartment.
• Familiarity with refugee populations and their needs preferred.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English is required.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with clients/youth.

WORK HOURS
Regular office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This position may require flexibility to work various hours and possibly weekends, depending on current program needs.

• Full-Time position with an hourly range of $15.00-17.00, based on skills and experience.
