The Department of Biology and Chemistry at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Biology to start in August 2022 to teach biological sciences and anatomy and physiology courses. Opportunities for leadership are available to lead the Pre-Health Professions Advising or the Department as a whole. We are seeking applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching, advising, mentoring undergraduates in research, and actively participate in various committees within the University.
RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION:
Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in any field of Biological or Health Sciences.
EXPERIENCE:
Preference will be given to those with at least two years of experience teaching sciences at a four-year college level.

- Full-time faculty members are expected to engage students in research. Evidence of research and scholarly activities is highly desirable.
- Successful candidate will be required to participate in professional activities to enhance student learning experience and willing to be involved in activities assigned by the Department Chair.
- Responsible for teaching in the following areas: Introductory Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Human Cadaver Dissection, or other biological science courses as assigned by the Department Chair.
