SalaryCarl's Jr - Food Truck is looking for an individual who likes working different types of events and not the same location every day. Concerts, soccer games, city events, weddings, parties.
You will be preparing and serving items from a limited Carl’s Jr. menu to customers in a fast-paced environment from a Food Truck. Your primary work location is on the Food Truck (reporting to the base, then traveling to the event site), and on days you are not working on the Food Truck, you may be working in a local Carl’s Jr. restaurant. Most event servings take place within 60 miles of the base, but some may be farther than that. Overnight travel is possible, though not common.
Requirements:
- A cheerful personality
- Full availability
- Restaurant experience a plus, Carl’s Jr. experience a bonus
- Ability to lift and move 45 lbs
- Ability to climb steps into the Food Truck
- Able to ride in a moving vehicle
- Work in close proximity to others
Job Duties:
- Cut produce to use on the day’s event(s)
- Load product (meat, buns, produce, ice, etc.) the catering truck as needed
- Prepare food for customers at the event site
- Clean the truck at the end of the event
- Detail clean the truck as required
Representative
The representative is the driver and Person In Charge of the event. The representative directs and participates in loading the Food Truck at the designated location and safely driving the Food Truck to its designated service location. In addition to the requirements of the Crew position, the Representative requirements also include:
- Possessing a valid “Class C” driver license and with no more than two points
- Obtaining and maintaining a DOT Medical Card
- Greeting the event’s contact and directing the set-up process
- Accurately recording the event’s sales
- Coaching the crew to deliver high quality food
- Keeping event payment secure
- Directing and assisting the crew in cleaning the truck at the end of the event and securing the truck from travel
