Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and menu plans
- Ensure food is handled and stored safely in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and Food Service areas
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents/patients
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients and their families
Experience:
- Previous experience in the Food Service industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and regulations
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
