- Provide personal assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Manage and monitor behavior to promote a safe and positive environment
- Utilize social work skills to provide emotional support and guidance
- Implement systems and routines to enhance productivity and organization
- Assist with patient care, including medication reminders and monitoring health conditions
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure proper care is provided
- Provide assistance in nursing home settings, following HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality
- Lift and transfer individuals as needed, using proper techniques and equipment
```Experience```
- Previous experience in a similar role as a personal assistant or caregiver is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and techniques
- Understanding of social work principles and practices
- Experience in working with individuals requiring patient care, medication administration, and monitoring health conditions
- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols, including HIPAA compliance
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper techniques and equipment
