Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Follow non-medical service plan

· Companionship

· Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)

· Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming etc.)

· Grocery shopping, preparation of meals, running errands

· Laundry, changing bed linens

· Accompanying client to and from appointments

· Monitoring the safety of the client, stand-by guidance during daily activities

· Performing activities/hobbies with client or accompaniment on outings, keeping client active and socially engaged in things they may be interested in.

Requirements for all Caregiver applicants include:

• Excellent business and personal references
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance - Required
• Genuinely concerned about helping people
• High moral standards of honesty and integrity
• Satisfactorily complete Comfort Keepers training and orientation program
• Permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing
• Applicant must be bondable

Successful applicants must meet or exceed the following Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Criminal Background Investigation
• Motor Vehicle Driving Record
• Professional and Personal Reference Checks
