About the Role:
Caregiving is a rewarding career with the connections you make with regular clients. Whether short morning appointments to get going for the day, long appointments to provide companionship and oversight, or evening appointments for dinner and getting ready for bed...our clients need the help of caregivers to remain comfortable at home.
Schedule:
Overnights- Protective Oversight, Positionining and Awareness Shifts
Responsibilities: (training provided)
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Perform client’s shopping or accompany them while they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:
- Multi Tasking
- Assist with Transfers (Ability to lift up to 50lbs)
- Ability to provide transportation to clients for medical appointments/errands
- Exceptional Patience, Empathy and Compassion
- Comfortable with household chores and cooking (utilizing recipe's or Youtube)
- Comfort with providing care to clients with Alzheimer's or Dementia
