THE LOWER SHORE CLINIC IS GROWING!
We are building a new team and expanding our services thanks to a $4 million funding stream.
Now hiring for 4-day work week Monday -Thursday. You work 36 hours, but we will pay you for 40 hours.
CAREER COACH
Position Summary:
The Career Coach will assist clients with finding gainful competitive employment or volunteer opportunities in the community. This is a full time position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform the intake process with clients.
- Work collaboratively with clients to develop a resume, and a person-centered Individual Treatment Plan
- Assist clients in all phases of job development
- Will collaborate with client’s mental health treatment teams, the Division of Rehabilitation Services, Maryland Employment Network, and natural supports to coordinate care and treatment.
- Establish employer contacts to help connect clients to businesses in the community to develop opportunities for employment.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- High School diploma and equivalent.
- Two years’ experience working with mentally ill adults.
- Supported employment experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation process.
- Current CPR and First Aid.
- Full valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
