Care Summer Counselor 2024 (Multiple Vacancies - Ops)

Responsibilities
The following programs - Upward Bound Gadsden, Upward Bound Jackson County, Upward Bound Math and Science, Summer Seminoles, and CARE Freedom School are seeking a Servant Leader Interns and Residential Counselors with the following related duties:

• Collaborate with staff to provide an enriching experience for K-12 youth across assigned program.
• Facilitate small-group or class-based workshops or activities.
• Assist students in meeting their academic and other developmental goals.
• Foster a healthy, safe environment for youth on campus.
• Serve as a positive role model for youth across various programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to build rapport with youth.

Anticipated Salary Range
All counselors and interns will be paid $12 per hour.
