Your Role:
- Provides departmental leadership. Improves organizational performance.
- Manages care environment, information, and day-to-day departmental operations.
- Establishes documentation, policies, procedures, standards, and objectives.
- Collaborates with Finance (department 8211), Nursing Administration (department 6011), Risk Management (department 8321), Organizational Improvement (department 6008), and other departments.
- Communicates information timely via appropriate channels.
- Manages departmental budget.
- Meet goals/expectations established over the previous year.
- Manages human resources and performance management.
- Meets or exceeds all The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.
- Solves problems; recommends sound solutions.
- Displays an understanding of diversity.
- Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.

Supervises:
- RN/Case Management (JC: 244802) and Social Worker/MSW (JC: 242002)
Required Education:
- Master’s degree in a mental health specialty (e.g., Master of Social Work, Master of Mental Health, Master of Mental Health Counseling, or Master of Marriage and Family Therapy) from an accredited university
Preferred Education:
- Doctor of Social Work degree
Required Experience:
- Two (2) years of job-related Case Management experience (including one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience)
Preferred Experience:
- Five (5) years of job-related Case Management experience (including supervisory/managerial experience).
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- None
Preferred Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 491 (Clinical, Counseling, and Psychotherapy Services).
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) and/or Accredited Case Manager--Social Worker (ACM-SW) credential from the American Case Manager Association (ACMA).
