Job Description: Cardiology PACS Technical Specialist

The Cardiology PACS Technical Specialist will function as a resource for the INFINITT Cardiology PACS support team. In this position, you will be responsible for learning the INFINITT Cardiology Product with a focus on technical workflows.

CPACS Technical Specialist Principal Functions:

  1. Application Training
    1. Supporting Freshdesk tickets with application training and questions.
    2. Providing remote training for INFINITT CPACS implementations.
    3. Participate in on-site and remote implementations and provide training to all users (System Admins, Super Users, Cardiologists, etc.)
  2. Understanding of Template Creation
    1. Identify template change requests and prepare them for the appropriate resource.
    2. Host template review sessions for existing customers needing template changes or new templates.
    3. Understanding how to navigate our Template Manager and complete modifications to customer templates.
    4. Collaborates with customers to obtain and document structured report mapping procedures.
  3. Cardiology Add-On Module Support
    1. Understanding the Third-Party Software and CPACS Add-On modules that integrates with our product.
    2. Perform testing and high-level training on third-party Software and INFINITT cardiology converters.
    3. Be able to install third-party software and INFINITT cardiology converters for current and new customers.
  4. Cardiology Upgrade Support
    1. Provide documentation and training to customers undergoing an upgrade to their INFINITT environments.
    2. Update project plan tasks when assigned.
    3. Reviewing the sites environment and statement of work for CPACS modules.
    4. Documenting and implementing software moves for designated CPACS modules.
    5. Perform QC of the CPACS environment post upgrade.
  5. Cardiology Product Support
    1. Provide telephone, remote access, and email support to INFINITT Cardiology PACS customers.
    2. Creating appropriate tickets or adding detail to anything already created and escalating to the appropriate team member (when needed).
    3. On occasion, provide on-site support to customers – this can include driving or flying to facilities.
  6. Go-Live and On-site Support
    1. Traveling to facilities to support INFINITT CPACS implementations or supporting remotely.
    2. Troubleshooting issues for INFINITT CPACS product or triaging the issue to appropriate resources.
    3. Identify all template needs and concerns during Implementation and bring them back to INFINITT for completion or R&D.

Essential Experience

The Cardiology PACS Technical Specialist should have a Cardiology Background with at least 5 years in a clinical setting, knowledge in workflow and imaging, and / or experience in hospital IT systems. Knowledge and hands-on experience with PACS is a plus.

  1. Well versed with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  2. Public speaking to small and large audiences
  3. Excellent organization skills and ability to perform under pressure
  4. Knowledge and experience of hospital systems, modalities, and workflows
