Form of workUnder the direction of Cardiology Manager and in coordination with the Cardiologist and/or Nurse Practitioner the Cardiac Technologist - Stress Technologist assists and performs diagnostic stress testing, holter monitor procedures and event monitor procedures. Qualifications
Required:
- Computer skills
- Constructive cooperative relationship with peers
- High school diploma
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Preferred:
- Ability to perform blood pressures
- Knowledge of HIPPA, JCAHO standards
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and cardiovascular systems
- Knowledge of Universal precautions standards
- Knowledge of EKG pattern recognition
- 1 year of stress testing or a position with direct patient contact
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
- ECG/EKG Technician certification
- Exercise physiologist
