Cardiac Technologist 40 hours per week

Under the direction of Cardiology Manager and in coordination with the Cardiologist and/or Nurse Practitioner the Cardiac Technologist - Stress Technologist assists and performs diagnostic stress testing, holter monitor procedures and event monitor procedures.  Salem Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is committed to supporting patient care, research, teaching, and service to the community.  We place great value on being a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization as we aim to reflect the diversity of the patients we serve. Required:

• Computer skills 
• Constructive cooperative relationship with peers
• High school diploma
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Preferred:

• Ability to perform blood pressures
• Knowledge of HIPPA, JCAHO standards
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and cardiovascular systems
• Knowledge of Universal precautions standards
• Knowledge of EKG pattern recognition
• 1 year of stress testing or a position with direct patient contact
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education 
• ECG/EKG Technician certification
• Exercise physiologist
