What role would I play in lighting the way?

As Car Wash Sales Representative, you will devise strategies for promoting and selling our unique lighting solutions within harsh environments. This role serves as an intermediary between different prospects, recommending products and solutions while ensuring the application requirements are met. You will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals. Combining your charisma with sales and industry knowledge to create a compelling sales pitch, you’ll help the company grow its brand recognition and revenue by closing new business.

What roles am I accountable for?

1.Achieve Sales Targets & Outcomes (25%)

  • Effectively sell the company's products and services; complete the relating sales process
  • Meet or exceed sales and new account quotas
  • Ensure all activities and account statuses are tracked and maintained with appropriate records in CRM; including activity and applicable quotes or other collateral information
  • Seamlessly hand off closed accounts to other team members

2.Presentations & Selling (25%)

  • Create compelling sales presentations based on the target audience
  • Present company value proposition ensuring complete understanding of the value of the company’s products and services and our company uniques
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and other related sales and customer functions
  • Develop thorough knowledge of our products and service offerings, as well as their applications
  • Accurately convey the key differentiating features of our products and services from our competition
  • Become an expert in our product offerings and a trusted advisor for customers

3.Solution Consulting & Design (20%)

  • Discover and understand the customers’ needs and offer the appropriate solutions through the company’s products and services
  • Create proposals, layouts/designs, and quotations based on the customer’s application needs and requirements

4.Lead Generation & Prospecting (15%)

  • Prospect for new customers
  • Qualify leads and implement new methods and techniques to ensure continued sales leads
  • Follow up on marketing qualified and sales qualified leads
  • Ensure industry knowledge and brand recognition as the go to lighting specialist
  • Schedule meetings with qualified leads and prospects

5.Territory Strategy (15%)

  • Work with the marketing department to develop and refine sales strategies & messaging
  • Monitor competition, actively maintain industry knowledge, and follow current developments; sharing insights with other team members
  • Research sales statistics and establish sales potential with new businesses in target area
  • Engaged participation in weekly team meetings (L10s) and one-on-ones with manager
  • Provide reports on activities, market conditions and customer feedback

What does success in this role look like?

Success in this role would be achieved through growth within the revenue and new customer base by selling G&G products and services for aligned applications.

What will I need to succeed?

  • Must align with our Core Values
  • 3 years of previous sales experience in the Car Wash industry required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed (could be up to 75% of the time nationally)
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals, driven by results
  • Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous prospects and contacts at many levels
  • Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands
  • Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers’ needs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills, including experience working with CRM systems
  • Strong execution, follow-through and problem-solving skills

Compensation: Base Salary $80-100k, OTE $120-$140k

Our Hiring Process

At G&G, we take great care in our selection of new team members at all levels. Our selection process consists of:

  • An initial phone screen with our HR leader to get to know you and discuss work and culture.
  • Additional phone conversations with one or two of our key leaders to discuss specifics surrounding the role and to get a better understanding of your skills and experience.
  • Candidates selected to continue in the hiring process will complete a Company Core Values exercise and an online assessment. This information is used to ensure a strong team and role fit and guide some of the in-person interview day.
  • In-person interview (at our Clifton Park, NY location)
  • Reference Checks conducted and pending all goes well, an offer will be extended.

Salary & Benefits:

· Base Salary $80-100k, OTE $120-140k+
