Capital Connect is a new global fintech business which sits under the Digital Private Markets within J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank. Focused on early-stage private markets, Capital Connect is a cross-functional platform which leverages the scale, network, and data of JPM. The platform allows members to network with other members, benchmark companies and markets using proprietary data, consume exclusive content, and raise/invest capital.

Job Summary:

As an Investor SalesVice President on the Capital Connect team, we are looking for constant learners who are passionate about solving complex problems in the private capital markets and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. Job Responsibilites:

  • Prospect and develop new contacts within the investor ecosystem in your assigned region
  • Develop fluency in the suite of Capital Connect offerings (deals, funds, and data) and cross sell products into investor prospects
  • Engage, qualify, and develop a robust pipeline of investor prospects
  • Work closely with the Investor Sales team to provide data and insights to enhance prospect targeting and sales engagement
  • Quickly gain fluency in our sales process, systems, and operations
  • Develop working relationships with our cross line of business partners to drive Capital Connect investor referrals
  • Provide continuous feedback to drive process improvements and help instill a data driven mentality across the sales org
  • Meet and network with investors in your assigned region and educate them on the benefits of Capital Connect
  • Perform sales discovery and provide feedback to our product and engineering teams
  • Attend in-market events to drive additional investor engagement and activation on Capital Connect

Job qualifications, capabilities and required skills:
  • 6+ years of fintech sales, financial data sales, and/or fundraising experience
  • Experience in using CRM systems (i.e. DealCloud, Salesforce)
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and motivation to improve the state of private capital markets
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate those skills into presentation format
  • Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo, think creatively, and problem-solve
  • Excel in diverse and intercultural teams while being an excellent team player
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, demanding, and high-pressure environment
