Position Overview: EPIC Charter School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Capital Campaign Manager to lead and drive fundraising efforts for capital projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of successful Capital Campaign management.

Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive Capital Campaign strategies in alignment with the school's mission and goals.
• Create a detailed campaign plan outlining timelines, goals, and key performance indicators.

2. Donor Cultivation and Engagement:

• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Develop and maintain a robust donor engagement plan, ensuring consistent and meaningful communication.

3. Collaboration with Leadership:

• Work closely with school leadership, the Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities.
• Provide regular updates and reports on campaign progress to the leadership team.

4. Event Management:

• Plan and execute fundraising events to engage donors and showcase the impact of capital projects.
• Coordinate and manage donor recognition events to express appreciation and strengthen relationships.

5. Grant Writing and Proposal Development:

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities for capital projects.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports to secure funding.

6. Budget Oversight:

• Develop and manage budgets for Capital Campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in Capital Campaign management with a successful track record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Chicago philanthropic landscape is an advantage.
