Cannabis Cultivation Technician

Good Day Farm is growing fast! We are looking for additional team members with a passion for the cannabis industry to join us as Cultivation Technicians. The Cultivation Technicians will be responsible for maintaining and completing daily projects assigned by the Cultivation Manager(s), Supervisor(s), and/or Lead(s).

Cultivation Techs will be scheduled to work 40+ hours. Schedule will be Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday 7am-4pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with grow operations including cleaning, daily activities, quality assurance, potting, manicuring, and harvesting.
• Cleans in and around cultivation areas daily, including but not limited to: floors, walls, tables, equipment, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and sanitizing.
• Follows compliance procedures mandated by the state licensing requirements.
• Maintains open communication with the management team and other co-workers
• Maintains a professional attitude towards coworkers and management.
• Follows operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties.
• Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Completes assigned tasks, projects, and expectations in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a Missouri Agent Card and pass a background check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.
• Must have great attendance - arrive on time and work each scheduled shift.
• Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
• The ability to sit or stand for up to 10 hours at a time.
• The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
• The ability to use a half face respirator.
• The ability to complete fine motor functions.
• Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
