We have a great full-time opportunity as a Call Center Representative for a company that specializes in Call Center work for companies in various industries. This position will be working specifically with a healthcare company. This position will be temporary with the ability to go permanent. The pay is $17.00 an hour and training would start April 22, 2024.

Position Summary:

Call Center Representatives are at the heart of our business and play a critical role in helping the company succeed. We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our growing team. If you have a passion for helping others, this could be the ideal career for you. The Call Center Representatives will provide both inbound and outbound call support to our various clients. Representatives are expected to provide exceptional customer service while following protocols and guidelines. The Call Center Representative will use various web-based systems to answer customer inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer inquiries with professional courtesy, giving exceptional customer service to each customer, based on client specific instruction.
  • Document each customer’s inquiry information into a database.
  • Verify customer’s information, making corrections and updates as needed.
  • Actively listen to recognize opportunities to offer additional information to callers ensuring the caller and client has received the best customer service experience possible.
  • Follow-up with callers as necessary.
  • Use statistical contact center data to make improvements to performance.
  • Outbound calling for surveying to obtain client specific information.
  • Shift and Schedule adherence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior Call Center or customer service experience highly desired
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge on how to operate a computer, use internet search engines, and navigate multiple windows/tabs.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Successful completion of pre-hire testing
  • Successful completion of background check and Drug Screen is required for this position.
  • Must be able to provide proof of education such as a high school diploma, GED, or college transcripts.
  • Must be able to provide proof of two valid and in-date forms of ID.

Special Position Requirements:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week as a Full-Time employee
  • Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. May change due to business needs.
  • Call Center Representative must report to work as scheduled and will not be granted time off during the first 90 days of employment.
  • The Remote training is full-time and will fall between 8AM-8 PM EST and can be from 4-6 weeks long. It is mandatory to attend the entire training. Any missed time could lead to removal.
  • Training times will be provided to you by the client when you are offered the position.

Home Office Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular high-speed internet service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable modems for a home office.  Hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet service are NOT allowed for this role.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10mpbs download and 5mpbs upload is required. For your convenience, you may use our prequalification test to determine if your internet meets our requirements: http://www.speedtest.net: Preferred 20MBPS download and 5Mbps upload.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
  • Sit for most of the workday, adhering to a set work schedule, scheduled breaks, and lunch.
  • Responds to member's/customers questions in a timely manner.
  • Navigates through various sources of information and systems.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand or sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, and type on a keyboard. The employee must also be able to reach with hands and arms, balance, speak clearly, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
