Our location based in Long Island City is seeking a full time CAD Drafter. The candidate will be proficient in preparing construction shop drawings.
Responsibilities for the Role:
- Create shop drawings from architectural drawings, sketches and field measurements on time and with accuracy
- Prepare, detail and layout drawings and sketches utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD
- Work collaboratively with design and engineering teams
- Maintain project drawing files, logs and prints
- Support Inside Sales team with order processing
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD 2014 or later
- Ability to read and interpret architectural design drawings and specifications
- Metal, waterproofing and roofing experience helpful
- Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Advanced Steel and/or Tekla Structures experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills are a must
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, growing and changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Detail-oriented
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills

Wage Range: $25 - $35 per hour and additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
