ONSITE POSITION
Summary: Support the development of products, structures, or systems in various industries. Attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and a strong understanding of design principles are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawing: Create precise and detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on project requirements, sketches, or specifications.
- CAD Software Operation: Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) to produce 2D and 3D drawings and models.
- Blueprints: Interpret and work with existing blueprints or CAD models to modify, update, or enhance designs as needed.
- Design Modifications: Make revisions and modifications to existing drawings or models based on feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers.
- Scale and Dimensioning: Ensure accurate scaling, dimensioning, and annotation of drawings to provide clear and complete information for construction or manufacturing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.
- Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings, checking for errors, inconsistencies, or omissions.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions, and manage project files effectively.
- Standards Compliance: Adhere to industry-specific standards, codes, and best practices in drawing and design.
- Problem Solving: Assist in solving design-related challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and functionality.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and the ability to quickly learn new software if required.
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing.
- Good mathematical and spatial reasoning skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO) is a plus.
