DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Minimum five years of experience in CAD design with a focus on structural and interlocking panel designs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or design highly preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software and Solidworks to create detailed and accurate drafting
- Demonstrated ability to generate BOM for project documentation
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and integrate design specification
- Familiarity with industry standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in design processes.
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As a Structural Designer, you will source structural materials, conduct precise calculations using CAD software, and collaborate with the design team to create and modify drawings. Compliance with company standards and configuration of drawing formats are key responsibilities in this dynamic design environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Procuring structural materials essential for design purposes.
- Assessing dimensions, weight restrictions, and measurements for design specifications.
- Generating designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Developing diagrams and layouts to represent the design workflow visually.
- Modifying drawings based on feedback from engineers or architects.
- Verifying that designs adhere to company regulations and quality standards.
- Configuring drawing formats and file settings as needed.
