Our long-standing Charlotte client is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join their growing team. If you've got an Accounting or Finance degree and experience don't wait to apply - this role won't last long!
Responsibilities:
* Review contracts to identify and interpret complex financial obligations
* Ensure compliance to contract terms and commitments including, commissions, volume allowances, profit splits etc.
* Prepare monthly journal entries, payments, and reconciliations for such contractual obligations
* Ensure monthly profit and loss statements are an accurate reflection of the results of the period
* Ensure balance sheet accounts reflect the correct balance and are reviewed and reconciled monthly
* Be a leader in the department, assist peers, and act as a mentor to new or existing associates
Requirements:
* Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance
* Three plus years accounting experience
* Demonstrated process improvement experience
* Proficient knowledge of Excel and SAP financial module
* Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
* Must be a quick learner and self-motivated
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
