We are looking for a Product Specialist for a consumer goods manufacturer in the Madison, WI area. The Product Specialists will provide product consultation over the phone to deliver exceptional customer service and build brand loyalty.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers to offer assistance and gather detailed information about their needs and project timeline
• Share product feature knowledge as well as design, specification, and installation information
• Build a connection and foster customer relationships by checking in at suitable intervals
• Facilitate a smooth transition to the showroom when the customer is prepared to progress to the next stage
• Continually expand product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new product offerings

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• 3+ years of experience in retail, sales, customer care, or design; contact center or direct customer services/sales experience preferred
• Experience using computer systems to track data, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and active listening skills
• Self-motivated and results-focused
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
• Quick learner
