· 2+ years of previous structural design experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret residential architectural blueprint
- familiar with IRC, IBC, WFCM, ASCE, PTI and NDS code standards
- Identify design discrepancies and communicate the design changes required to the builder and architect.
- Ability to create details under limited supervision
- Understanding of building envelope requirements
- Strong writing/grammar skills
- Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Architects, Builders, and Owners
- Demonstrated strong organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Possesses leadership skills and teamwork attitude
- Punctual, polite, and professional manner required
- Detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $53,448.08 - $60,170.93 per year
