Responsibilities Include:
• Work with the customer to identify qualified suppliers for key aerospace electrical components
• Review supplier quotations and evaluate for cost, turnaround time, and quality
• Follow standard work to place POs with suppliers
• Order parts from suppliers on behalf of the customer, addressing the priority needs for the customer
• Generate and maintain a tracker to track commitment dates, supplier progress, action items, and shipments
• Report out progress and status to the customer on a regular basis
• Assist in generating status reports and sitting in on status meetings to update key accounts and customer stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret documents and blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
• An understanding of DPAS & DFARS requirements
• Knowledge and experience using consumption-based and forecast-based planning methods.
• Previous procurement and sourcing experience in an ISO-9001 or equivalent QMS “Quality Management System”
