Become a key player as a Buyer- Medical Device, managing MRP messages, placing accurate purchase orders and optimizing inventory levels. We are looking for a strategic thinker, who is ready to make a positive difference in the lives of patients all around the world.
What you'll get to do in this role:
- Action MRP messages and other supply chain messages as necessary.
- Place purchase orders with approved vendors based on MRP signals, ensuring accuracy of delivery schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date information on Oracle system for various parameters related to parts and materials.
- Optimize inventory levels while securing market supply and minimizing Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH).
- Collaborate with strategic sourcing to renegotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, aiming for cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with various departments to meet customer demands and address issues related to warehouse, inspection, trade, compliance, and finance.
- Manage Engineering Change Requests to minimize obsolete stocks and actively contribute to New Product Introductions.
What we are looking for: Basic Qualifications...
- Bachelor Degree in a related field
- Must have 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Extensive MRP/ERP applications knowledge (Oracle/EBS, would be advantageous).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good working knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry practices including industry standards QSR, ISO13485, and MDD.
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
- IIPMM or APICS certification preferred.
