Busser/Food Runner

CULINIARE is in search for RESTAURANT BUSSERS AND FOOD EXPEDITORS to join our Team at Omaha Steakhouse that is located in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Altamonte Springs. This position is a wonderful opportunity to start your career for advancement opportunities into other positions at the Center.

A few main responsibilities

· Always be aware of guests in dining room, and be attentive to their needs
· Clear and clean tables after guest have left the table
· Transport dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
· Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth
· Responsible for setting tables to correct specifications
· Replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware
· Replenish supply of clean linen, silverware, glassware, and china in dining room
· Supply service bar with food such as soups, salads, and desserts
· Clean and polish glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers
· Prepare coffee and fill fruit juice dispensers
· Sweeps and mops floors; use proper floor signage. (i.e. wet floor sign)
· React to and correct, in a timely manner, unsafe/unsanitary conditions
· Complete the meal plate for presentation to the guest in a timely and orderly manner
· Control the flow of food orders in and out of the kitchen
· Deliver plated food items to the guests’ table in a courteous and pleasant manner

A few qualifications and skills sets required

· Works with minimal supervision
· Carries, lifts, pulls and pushes up to fifty (50) pounds
· Multi-tasked oriented
· Works in a fast paced environment
· Works a flexible schedule
· Possesses an Alcohol and Food Handlers’ Certification as required
· Stands and walks for long period
