Job Description: As our Salesforce Business Systems Analyst, you will play a vital role on our team in designing, configuring, testing, and deploying a new case management system and CRM for our Federal Government customer. We are looking for an individual who makes the customer mission their priority in delivering modern, user-centric, and reliable software products to automate manual business processes and workflows. This system directly supports matters of international security and connects 100s of thousands of law enforcement officials. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engage with end users and stakeholders to analyze and understand roles and responsibilities to conduct persona mapping.
- Conduct business process reengineering by documenting workflows between end users and stakeholders, analyzing inputs and outputs with manual vs automated processes.
- Document business, functional, and technical requirements and map them to the solutions and desired capabilities.
- Reviewing existing technical and business documentation to understand existing and legacy system functionality.
- Drafting user stories, features, and epics for conversation and confirmation with stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Development Team to develop viable solutions and make recommendations to the Product Owner for implementation.
- Perform feature and component testing to ensure that the solutions comply with requirements.
- Support system demos and User Acceptance Testing to document bugs and gather change requests for future sprints.
- Utilize agile project management and collaboration tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Lucid, Visio, Teams, SharePoint
- Assist in the development of training materials and release notes to aid system adoption and change management.
- Support configuration management activities through documentation in the code and knowledge repositories within Bitbucket, GitHub, Confluence, Jira, and/or ADO
- Be an active member of an Agile development team, participating in all Agile ceremonies, updating tasks in Jira/ADO, and continual improvement.
- Troubleshoot issues in production and non-production.
- Learn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers.
- Estimate the work required for each user story, feature, and epic with story points that establish the product roadmap.
- Continue to grow as a professional while gaining new technical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience conducting business analysis and capturing business and technical requirements for IT projects.
- 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting Salesforce products.
- Sound understanding of Salesforce best practices and platform limits.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and understanding of how to leverage the model to build scalable applications.
- Demonstrated Experience working in an Agile Environment within the Federal Government.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in business process reengineering.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, i.e. data analysis, business process modeling, use case modeling, prototyping/wireframing, cost/benefit analysis, storyboarding, prioritization, decision trees, business rules, root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Proven track record of problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain a high degree of attention to detail.
Required Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, or
- Salesforce Certified Consultant

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
