Since 2010, Hanna has grown from a start-up company to one of California’s industry leaders in the interpretation and translation space. We achieved this feat without a Sales Department, but instead, through organic growth resulting from a focus on providing the best customer experience in the industry. Now, with more leads than we can get to, we are ready to build a Sales team to harness all of the momentum we have created over the past 10 years.

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language services provider that offers in person, video, over-the-phone, and written options for translation, interpretation, ADA remediation, transcription, language assessments, voice over, and website localization.
Founded in 2010 by mother and son duo Jennifer Hanna and Tom Elias Hanna in their garage in San Diego, CA, Hanna has grown to more than 70 employees, served over 1 million non-English speakers to date in 200+ languages, and has sponsored countless outreach events to serve the local community.

Who We’re Seeking:
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Business Sales Representative with a sharp focus on hunting and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and a keen ability to identify, pursue, and close new deals via meetings, email, phone, and in-person. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality, eager to drive growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, site visits, and social media
- Identify potential clients, understand their needs, and propose customized solutions to meet these needs
- Utilize ZoomInfo to effectively identify buyer roles within assigned industries or territories
- Manage and track all leads and interactions using CRM tools
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients
- Arrange meetings with potential clients and follow up to close deals
- Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted sales strategies
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Stay current with industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and company goals
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a hunting role
- Comfortable with face-to-face selling
- Strong ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficient in the use of CRM software (HubSpot preferred)
- A self-starter with a high level of initiative and a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with market research, sales strategies, and sales planning
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
- Anticipated travel 30-40% (Mostly day trips in Southern California, 4-5 overnight for tradeshows)
