Business Assistance Program Manager needed for a 3 month contract
Location- Hybrid with 40% in office and 60% remote
This position does require traveling up to 20 miles to attend in-person meetings with businesses.
Duration- April 2024 – June 2024
Compensation- $ 25-$30/hr. DOE
Government funded program aimed at helping “at risk” businesses develop an action plan of resources and enroll business in an appropriate program to help sustain companies and reduce the loss of businesses and jobs
Ideal candidate will have a background in Business Development, Admissions, Job placement development, Community engagement
Must have a minimum of 3 years related experience
Must pass a background check via Live Scan
Daily schedule:
Promote Los Angeles County Assistance programs to inner city businesses through outreach to targeted key industries and businesses through monthly business visits and in-person consultations and presentations
Educate business on business assistance programs being offered, including attraction, retention, expansion, job growth and layoff aversion assistance to companies
Develop and maintain professional relationships with established economic and workforce development partners, regulatory agencies and local government within the region
Deliver presentations on business assistance, layoff aversion and targeted industry services
