Job Description
Our client, an established and reputable women’s fashion brand, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative based in NYC. The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and maximizing profitability through effective merchandising strategies and sales initiatives. This position requires a strategic vision, and a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and merchandising techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
- Collaborate with senior management to define sales objectives, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and optimization
- Collaborate with the buying team to curate a well-rounded product assortment that meets the needs and preferences of the target demographic
- Determine the right mix of products, styles, sizes, and price points based on sales data, customer feedback, and market trends
- Stay abreast of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Established relationships with stakeholders within companies such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, TJ Maxx, Macy's, Belk, Dillards, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in sales management, merchandising, and retail operations, with a track record of driving sales growth and profitability
- Deep understanding of retail merchandising principles, market trends, and consumer behavior
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
