Work you'll do
The Hybrid Tech Select PMO will serve as the key, centralized point of contact to support and accelerate the organization, advancement, and success of our Tech Select program - through standardization of processes, education of/for contributing team members (e.g., SME interviewers), collaboration with project, client, and enabling teams, and coordination/communication of status/results reporting to key stakeholders.
You will be responsible for contributing to and/or driving the following Tech Select PMO Initiatives:
Liaise with client account teams to identify and prioritize critical needs, including level, location (on prem, remote), duration, and special skill requirements as applicable.
  • Participate in client account team calls to confirm, clarify, and prioritize resource requirements, including confirmation of the roles that Advisory (vs DC) is on point to fill.
  • Confirm which team lead(s) will be on point for consult and clarification.
  • Identify pain points (e.g., inability to fill a role) and work with enabling teams to address as efficiently as possible.
  • Understand if/when clients plan to roll resources off the project; ensure that Talent, RM, and Managed Services leadership is aware to initiate next steps (e.g., assess skills for other project needs)

Partner with Managed Services leadership to approve, track and review requested requirements:
  • Confirm and adjust order board based on fluctuating business needs.
  • Design standardized status monitoring and reporting to provide and share a consolidated summary of progress to fill requirements.
  • Efficiently escalate variances and other concerns to bring to resolution.

Team with Recruiting - to confirm and track candidate flow through the interview process:
  • Develop a standardized tracking report to summarize candidate progression through the interview life cycle, including reason(s) for advancement or rejection (to the next interview stage) as well as confirmation of the client(s) that candidates are presented to.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders (Managed Services leadership, project teams, Talent, RM) are promptly apprised of changes/delays to anticipated start dates, or other status changes.
  • Liaise between Recruiting, Candidates, Project teams, and Client teams to schedule client screenings.
  • Participate on client screen calls as needed - to confirm that the meeting dialogue is appropriately focused on relevant topics (e.g., tech skills and experience)

Liaise with Talent Business Advisor (BA) - to proactively manage the Tech Select population:
  • Keep BA apprised of deployment status; promptly advise of project roll-offs or other deployment challenges to assist in managing the bench.
  • Loop BA into non-deployment inquiries (e.g., talent, performance, compensation)

Team with Resource Management (RM) - to proactively source and screen specialized talent for consideration
  • Share open, prioritized needs with assigned RM.
  • Confirm the prioritization of candidate identification (Tech Select pool, Core Delivery, etc.)
  • Manage the internal candidate presentation process; all internal resumes should be routed through the PMO for review before being presented to the client. Diligence will include review for overall fit from a skills and timing perspective.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Organizational Design with 8+ years of progressive experience and collaboration in operations, transformation, sourcing, and deployment in a matrixed environment.
  • 5-7+ years of exposure in program/project management of specialized business initiatives.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

What You'll need to be successful - Role essentials
  • Strong understanding of program goals and needs.
  • Ability to understand and track/share status updates and processes, and effectively escalate challenges to ensure that corrective action is taken to efficiently resolve and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Program planning - Ability to recognize and effectively prioritize changing business needs related to resourcing, deploying, and managing program resources; Anticipate/Identify and remediates risks before they become issues.
  • Demonstrated competence in teaming, time management, organizational. management, customer interface, and multiple stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to identify and help solve for business challenges through action planning.
  • Demonstrated written, oral, and personal skills that can bridge understandings between Business, and varied support teams.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,613 to $171,250.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
