Business Operations Program Manager, Amazon Cloud Logistics

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2+ years of experience delivering lean six sigma business process improvements.
• 2+ years of experience with Excel advanced tools (pivots, lookups, etc.) or SQL

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and drive cross-functional productivity improvements for key business processes across procurement, finance, payments, trade, tax, and logistics operations to efficiently onboard new customers and services.
• Dive deep to uncover areas of opportunity, present written business recommendations, and lead global projects which deliver reduced service costs.
• Build and manage operating rhythms to simplify and automate business processes.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, and contract operations for global contract logistics and warehousing services.
• Establish annual financial plans and create operating rhythms to measure execution vs established targets.

Draft contractual requirements in cooperation with business partners which encourage continued customer focus deliver reduced service costs.

• Manage supplier relationships including contractual negotiations, service performance, capability development.

• Proven experience in supply chain, global logistics, transportation, or distribution center processes and systems.
• Proven expertise evaluating, analyzing, and quickly creating meaningful and sustainable change across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience implementing lean six sigma methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
