For this role, you will be working on the Business Operations team, which includes Business Systems, Program Management and Procurement. The team also partners with key business leaders and decision makers to drive impactful change across the organization and its portfolio companies.
This role will be based in our Dallas-Fort Worth office, with an expectation of full-time, in-office presence. By being in the office you will have direct access to the executive team and leadership, mentors, networking activities, and bonding events across Momentum. We encourage collaboration, mentorship, and cultural connections with our teams by being onsite together in the office.
Responsibilities
- Organize multiple high-priority projects and adapt to meet timeliness across 5+ portfolio companies, while consistently finding ways to innovate and reduce time to complete key tasks.
- Provide input and insight to support business needs, including never-been-done-before or ambiguous projects.
- Support the Business Operations team when partnering across the portfolio companies to drive strategic decision-making.
- Craft clear, concise communications to advance projects and decisions for the business.
- Building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, working cross-functionally to drive Business Operations initiatives.
- Learn about systems integration, setup, and maintenance to support the administration of enterprise systems, helping identify opportunities to streamline processes or document workflows.
- Analyze operating expenses, including vendor invoices, contracts and expense reports to support recommendations to optimize vendor relationships and costs.
Experience/Qualifications
- BS/BA or MS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related major fields. Expected Graduates of Spring 2024 are highly encouraged to apply!
- Demonstrates proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Has demonstrated strong leadership within extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrates analytical, accurate, detail-oriented skills.
- Is a passionate self-starter, able to meet deadlines and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Agility is essential. Able to quickly context switch from one project to another in order to support multiple businesses and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Able to communicate and work effectively with stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Showing proficiency with any of the following tools is preferred: SQL, Python, R, data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio), and/or data analysis (Boomi, Alteryx).
- Has completed Management Information Systems (MIS/BIS) course or leveraged ERP tools is considered a plus.

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
