Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing a team, and ensuring efficient administrative processes. This is a key role within our organization, and the successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining a smooth and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations, as well as being the main point of contact for the president of the company, other employee's and customer's
- Oversee administrative functions such as file management, payroll processing, and vendor management
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Ensure the front desk is attended to and phone calls are handled professionally
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and other arrangements
- Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Address employee queries regarding office policies and procedures
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Online Quickbooks, Outlook
- Familiarity with payroll systems and basic accounting principles
- Ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
