Business Office: HR/Payroll/Finance Assistant
Our company is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our Business Office team as an HR/Payroll/Finance Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance departments with various administrative tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire documentation
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, including data entry, timecard verification, and resolving any payroll discrepancies
- Assist with financial activities such as accounts payable/receivable, budget tracking, and invoicing
- Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data for management review
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, filing paperwork, and scheduling meetings
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of HR and payroll procedures and regulations is a plus
